Jardim de Santa Barbara – The Year in Pictures (July)
This is the third post of a series of 12, where I show the changing look of the Jardim de Santa Barbara over a year.
I’m a day late with this picture because yesterday afternoon, when I would normally go to take it, was 36C/97F and I Just. Could. Not. Leave the apartment. So I got up early today and took a morning picture, which is why the light is different. The things I do for clicks.
Also, the garden has exploded with summer colour. The roses are still there, mainly around the edges. And they need some pruning, as you can tell by the one in the foreground. I had to lean around it and so my angle on the library is different. Ah well, I’m learning a fair bit about how to do a photo series.
I don’t know what any of these flowers are except for the roses, but gosh, they’re pretty. I love this garden.
