Jardim de Santa Barbara – The Year in Pictures (August)
This is the fourth post of a series of 12, where I show the changing look of the Jardim de Santa Barbara over a year.
Last month I mentioned that the garden had exploded with colour. This month the garden said “Hold my beer.” It is somehow even MORE colorful, likely due the several strains of Celosia throughout. Otherwise known as Cock’s comb, the deep red is the most noticeable here, but there are three other shades as well. The flowers are mostly the same as in July, but all are deeper and more mature.
Next year I’ll find an angle where that annoying rose isn’t in the foreground.
